- Most compositions last 6 to 12 hours on skin, and oud and leather families often linger longer on clothing or scarves. Because the oil is undiluted, it warms and unfolds slowly instead of evaporating quickly like a spray.
- Which attar lasts the longest for men?
- Oud and leather compositions last longest on male skin. Mukhallat Oud, Purple Oud, Oud Élitaire, African Leather and Dune Leather are the strongest performers for all-day wear.
- Which attar lasts the longest for women?
- Vanilla and resin bases fix florals to the skin. Sacred Vanilla, Bursa and Zohra carry exceptionally well, while Istanbul’s floral opening dries into a warm base that stays for hours.
- Why does attar last longer than alcohol perfume?
- Alcohol sprays are 70–90% alcohol and water. They project loudly for a few minutes, then evaporate. Attar is pure oil, so it bonds with skin and releases fragrance gradually over many hours.
- How do I make attar last even longer?
- Apply to moisturised pulse points, a small amount behind the ears and at the wrists. Do not rub the wrists together. A trace on fabric or hair will carry the scent longer than skin alone.
