Mukhallat Oud begins with a breath of salt air — geranium and bergamot sharpened by sea notes. The heart blooms rose, violet and white flowers, classical and unhurried. The drydown is where the blend earns its name: sandalwood, patchouli and cypress laced with praline, amber and musk, sweet at the edges and resinous at the centre.
A layered attar that rewards patience. One touch behind each ear in the evening; it changes for several hours.
